The life of a sarcastic single mom in Alaska, probably the same as any single mom... maybe lol but add 23 chickens, 2 dogs, and a cat to the mix. And did i mention the dad is the type that Loves nothing more than to fight and cause heartache. HA but Nevermind that for now 🙂
Bonfire Talk
So here at the Homestead ( as I like to call it) I have bonfires from time to time, nothing huge. With all the trees we cut down, there's always some good ol' spruce trees to keep ya warm in the cold winter months and some good drinks are always a must when hangin by the fire. We talk about whatever there is to talk about. You can look forward to some good juicy stuff in these conversations.
Chicken Life
There's a lot more to chickens then what meets the eye. They are very entertaining to watch and take care of. Each having their own characteristics. I'll try to keep ya in the loop on what's going on with these guys.

You'll never find anything better than Alaska, but it's not for everyone to handle to live. Awesome vacation places though.
Working from home on top of my at home job of raising a 2yr old boy and animals. Not only do we get awesome eggs, sell eggs, but we also eat our chickens. Use every bit of them to make chicken stock as well. Nothing to waste around here.
As for me, I am a hardworking independent 34 yr old woman, never married, have wanted marriage for over 10yrs just haven't found that guy, I work on trucks, work construction, can operate any kind of equipment, I can run with the guys (so to say & not many guys like that lol), my son is my world now and changed everything for him including my life, his dad hasn't been there much in his life and has fought me every way of it and so here we are... I am sure there's more but that's the just of it
